Policies
Enrollment & Registration
Enrollment is confirmed once registration is complete and, for charter-funded students, upon receipt of an approved purchase order (PO) from the student’s charter school.
Services for charter-funded students will begin only after an approved PO is received.
Parents are responsible for coordinating with their charter school to ensure timely submission of all required documentation and approvals.
Attendance Policy
Regular attendance is encouraged to support student engagement and continuity.
As an enrichment program, make-up classes are not guaranteed.
No refunds or credits are issued for absences.
For charter-funded students, all services must align with charter school policies and approved purchase orders.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
This is a structured, small-group enrichment program. While students are dropped off for the duration of scheduled instructional time, the program is not a childcare or daycare service.
Students participate in planned academic and enrichment activities under the supervision of the instructor during program hours. Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child outside of scheduled program times.
Health & Illness Policy
To maintain a healthy learning environment, students should remain home if they have:
A fever within the past 24 hours
Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
Symptoms of a contagious illness
If a child becomes ill during program hours, parents/guardians will be contacted for prompt pick-up.
Behavior Expectations
We strive to maintain a structured and respectful small-group learning environment.
Students are expected to:
Follow directions
Participate appropriately
Treat peers and materials with respect
If behavioral concerns arise:
Parent/guardian communication will occur
Reasonable supports and redirection will be implemented
If a student is unable to participate safely or appropriately, services may be discontinued in alignment with program policies.
Parent Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that this program aligns with their student’s educational plan and charter school requirements.
This program is designed to supplement, not replace, a student’s primary homeschool or independent study program.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Enrollment reserves a student’s space in the program for the duration of the session.
Refunds are not guaranteed once services have begun.
For charter-funded students, all billing and use of funds must comply with the policies and guidelines of the student’s charter school.
If a student withdraws, any unused, unapproved funds may be released back to the charter school in accordance with their policies.
In the event of provider cancellation, reasonable efforts will be made to offer make-up sessions or adjustments where appropriate.
